What Is The Main Function of Stainless Steel Tee?

The tee is pipe fittings and pipe connectors. Also known as pipe fittings tee or tee fittings, tee joints, used in the main pipeline branch. Three-way is a kind of chemical pipe fittings with three openings, one inlet and two outlets, or two imports and one outlet. It has T-shaped and Y-shaped, equal-diameter and different-diameter pipe openings, which are used at the confluence of three identical or different pipelines. The main function of the tee is to change the direction of the fluid. Stainless steel tees are butt welded pipe fittings and pipe connectors. It is used in the branch of main pipeline. Stainless steel tees are divided into equal diameter and different diameter, and the nozzle ends of equal diameter tees are the same size; the nozzle sizes of different diameter tees are the same, while the nozzle sizes of branch pipes are smaller than the nozzle sizes of the main pipe. Stainless steel tee is a kind of pipe fittings used in branch of pipeline. For the manufacture of tees with seamless tube, there are two kinds of technology commonly used at present: hydraulic bulging and hot pressing. Hydraulic bulging of stainless steel tee is a forming process of expanding branch pipe by axial compensation of metal material. The process is to use a special hydraulic press to inject liquid into the billet with the same diameter of the tee. The billet is extruded synchronously through two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press. The volume of the billet decreases after extrusion. The liquid in the billet increases with the volume of the billet. When the pressure required for the expansion of the stainless steel tee branch pipe is reached, the metal material is pressed in the side cylinder and the billet. Under the double action of force, the branch pipe expands along the inner cavity of the die. The hydraulic bulging process of stainless steel butt welded tee can be formed at one time, and the production efficiency is high. The thickness of the main pipe and shoulder of stainless steel tee increases. Stainless steel tees are often used in the branch of pipeline. Generally, stainless steel tees are made by seamless pipe technology, mainly by hydraulic and hot pressing. Among them, hydraulic bulging of stainless steel tee is a forming technology of expanding branch pipes with axial compensation of metal materials. In the whole manufacturing process, a professional hydraulic press is used. This machine can inject the tubes with equal diameter into liquid and form stainless steel tee through a series of processes. The manufacturing method has the advantages of high efficiency, one-time forming and high safety. Because the hydraulic bulging process of stainless steel tees requires a large tonnage of equipment, it is mainly used in the manufacture of stainless steel tees with standard wall thickness less than DN400 in China. The suitable forming materials are low carbon steel, low alloy steel and stainless steel with relatively low tendency of cold work hardening, including some non-ferrous metal materials, such as copper, aluminium and titanium.
